Platform & Products
Diffractive Art is a digital color exploration platform created by painter and musician Wright Moore. The platform simulates how color and value interact across edges — bridging traditional painting practice and digital design.
The Color Machine is Diffractive Art’s core interactive tool. Rather than relying on mechanical blur effects found in standard software, it simulates how masses of color interact in nature — adjusting value and hue as one mass approaches another, producing a painterly diffraction effect.
It is both a creative tool for generating original digital art and a training environment for painters who wish to sharpen their understanding of edge behavior and color mixing.
What you can do:
- Explore color interaction across different painting techniques
- Generate downloadable visual compositions
- Study edge behavior
- Train your eye for color mixing and atmospheric edge handling
